Iowa State University’s Writing and Media Center, in partnership with ISU’s Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, Department of World Languages and Cultures, College of Design, and Campus Life Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, is hosting a panel event on April 4th at 4:00 p.m., titled: “Communicating with Empathy: Relationality and Creativity in Contemporary Learning.” The event will take place in ISU’s College of Design, Kocimski Auditorium, 101 Design and will be livestreamed. Refreshments will be available.
This event is the fourth in the Writing and Media Center’s 2021-2022 Speaker Series on Language and Communication Justice and will feature ISU faculty/staff, Jordan W. Brooks, Mani Mina, and Lucía M. Suárez. The panelists will explore language and communication justice through the lens of art, design, and creativity. Panelist talks will be followed by a Q&A!
