Douglas Spencer, Pickard Chilton Professor and director of graduate education, Department of Architecture
Spencer has contributed multiple journal essays and book chapters spanning architecture, landscape, urbanism and critical theory. He is the author of the widely-cited and critically acclaimed book The Architecture of Neoliberalism (Bloomsbury, 2016) and Critique of Architecture: Essays on Theory, Autonomy, and Political Economy (Birkhäuser/Bauwelt Fundamente, 2021). He is working on his third book, Scenes of Production: Architecture and the Subject of Capital.
