The Iowa State University Department of Architecture and College of Design Rome Program will host a series of three online Spring 2021 Design and the City Round Tables. Curated by Rome Program faculty Simone Capra and Consuelo Nunez Ciuffa, Rome Program resident director Pia Schneider and architecture department chair Deborah Hauptmann, the series will bring together artists, architects, critics, activists and curators to share their thoughts and work.

Session III: Roma Selvatica/Wild City will feature Annalisa Mettia, landscape architect and associate professor, Roma Tre University, and advisor at the American Academy in Rome; Emilia Giorgi, art and architecture critic (Rome); and Emanuele Coccia, philosopher and professor, EHESS (Paris).
