The Iowa State University Department of Architecture and College of Design Rome Program will host a series of three online Spring 2021 Design and the City Round Tables. Curated by Rome Program faculty Simone Capra and Consuelo Nunez Ciuffa, Rome Program resident director Pia Schneider and architecture department chair Deborah Hauptmann, the series will bring together artists, architects, critics, activists and curators to share their thoughts and work.

“Session II: Contemporary vs. Historical City” will feature Simone Gobbo, architect and founding partner, Demogo (Trevise, Italy); Michael Salvi, architect and founding partner, Schenker Salvi Weber (Vienna, Austria); and Gabriele Mastrigli, architecture critic and curator, Universita di Camerino (Ascoli, Italy).
