Design and the City Round Tables Session I: Architecture and Politics

The Iowa State University Department of Architecture and College of Design Rome Program will host a series of three online Spring 2021 Design and the City Round Tables. Curated by Rome Program faculty Simone Capra and Consuelo Nunez Ciuffa, Rome Program resident director Pia Schneider and architecture department chair Deborah Hauptmann, the series will bring together artists, architects, critics, activists and curators to share their thoughts and work.

Session I: Architecture and Politics will feature Michael Obrist, architect and founding partner, feld 72, and professor at Tu Wien (Vienna); Lorenzo Romito and Giulia Fiocca, artists and founding partners, Stalker (Rome); and Marco Baravalle, art critic and activist, Sale Docks (Venice).
