#InclusiveByDesign Workshop: Diversifying Curriculum & Updating Syllabi
To build on prior work related to decolonizing and diversifying the College of Design’s curricula, the college will host a three-day professional development workshop for faculty and instructional staff to support efforts to update course syllabi. The workshop will take place from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Monday–Wednesday, Dec. 7–9.
Sessions will be held conference-style via Zoom; you are invited to attend all sessions, and can choose which to participate in based on your schedule. Space also will be available in the Lightfoot Forum (atrium) and King Pavilion for individual work and physically distanced collaboration.
Guest presenters will be Laura Bestler, program specialist with the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT); and Noreen Rodriguez, TJ Stewart and Nicolas Tanchuk, assistant professors of education. Register online.
