Tune in to KHOI 89.1 FM at 8 p.m. today for the Outrage to Change artists’ roundtable, or watch it on KHOI Community Radio’s Facebook page. In partnership with the Octagon Center for the Arts, KHOI will host this live 90-minute discussion among artists who are exhibiting work in the windows of businesses in downtown Ames as part of the Octagon-sponsored Outrage to Change pop-up exhibit. The roundtable discussion will be moderated by Reginald Stewart, vice president for diversity and inclusion at Iowa State and a member of the Octagon’s board of directors.

Curated by Octagon exhibits manager and College of Design alumna Kristen Greteman (BArch 2011 / MS 2016 Architecture / MCRP 2016 Community & Regional Planning), the pop-up show features work by local BIPOC artists, including the following students, staff and alumni of the College of Design:

  • Helen Barton, senior in graphic design
  • Zach Frazier, graduate student in graphic design
  • Cameron Gray (MFA 2020 Integrated Visual Arts)
