Jessica Garcia Fritz is a candidate for a tenure-track architecture/urbanism/theory position in the Department of Architecture. She will give a public presentation, “Political Practices in Building Arts and Contested Territories,” from noon–1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, in 130 Design.
Garcia Fritz is currently an assistant professor of architecture at South Dakota State University, where she teaches design studio and architectural and construction history and manages the architectural library collection. She is also the co-founder and a partner of LA-BOR, a research and design practice in Brookings, South Dakota.
