Abstract

Facilities Planning and Management maps and inventories the landscape plants across campus. In recent years, the transition from AutoCAD drawings and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to ArcGIS software has allowed for better record keeping, planning for invasive pests, and better access to the inventory for faculty. Through the ArcGIS Collector app, the inventory can now being updated by Campus Services staff in the field, improving accuracy and efficiency.
