The ISU Homelessness Symposium is a one-day event examining the issues of homelessness in Iowa and around the country. The symposium combines the work of national experts on issues of homelessness and precarious housing with the on-the-ground knowledge of practitioners working on these issues around Iowa. The event is free and open to the public (although we request you register online). Organized by faculty in the Department of Community and Regional Planning and hosted by the College of Design, the ISU Homelessness Symposium is made possible with the generous support of the Gordon Family Endowment.

12:45 – 1:30 p.m.: Lunch (2nd floor Scheman)

2:15 – 4:00 p.m.: Case Studies on Addressing Housing Precarity; Student Presentations (Room 130, College of Design)

4:15 – 5:30 p.m.: Push film screening & discussion (Kocimski Auditorium, Room 101, College of Design)
