Second day of a National Science Foundation-funded workshop designed to bring together a diverse group of participants from academia, government, nongovernmental organizations and industry to explore the Mississippi River Watershed region as a large, interconnected urban and ecological system and develop future research networks and collaborative projects that integrate the body of knowledge about climate, agriculture and ecology with expertise about the governance and design of cities. View agenda. Cost is $30 for faculty/researchers/professionals and $20 for students. Register online on or before Monday, July 22. If you plan to present a poster, indicate this on your registration and submit your poster abstract on or before Thursday, Aug. 1.
