April 27 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Event Navigation

Black Contemporary, founded and operated by Peter P. Goché, assistant professor of architecture, will host an exhibition of installations and experimental drawings by students in his spring-semester option studio: Colleen De Matta, Merwick D’Souza, Megan Dunham, Zachary Hansen, Kane Hassebrock, Miranda Herpfer, Jeffrey Klynsma, Julianne Krusemark, Tomi Laja, Obhishek Mandal, Ryoka Matsuno, Venessa Miller, Jacob Murphy, Nicholas Nagawiecki, Ruchi Patel, Christopher Perez, Nicholas Raap, Samuel Rezac-Contreras, Paige Sivinski, Jake Spangler, Andrew Sparby, Shance Taylor, Wade Vollink, Mengying Wu, Zheng Yang, Megan Zeien and Wentao Zhong.

The studio asserts that artists, architects and farmers can play a critical role in the production of the seen and unseen – spaces made and re-made. Students will present art, architecture and agriculture as an embodiment of the principles and methods of inquiry whereby the general public is allowed to insert itself as participant.
