Gallery Night + Artist Panel: People of Color and the Arts

The Octagon Center for the Arts and the College of Design Multicultural Liaison Office will co-host an artist panel and discussion on “People of Color in the Arts” at 6 p.m. during the reception for integrated visual arts graduate student Cameron Gray’s exhibition, “The Negro from the South.” Panelists will include Gray; Brenda Jones, University Professor of art and visual culture; Mitchell Squire, professor of architecture; and Eulanda Sanders, professor of apparel, events and hospitality management. The discussion will be facilitated by Reginald Stewart, vice president for diversity and inclusion. The exhibition is on display Feb. 19 through March 9 in the Octagon’s Community Gallery.
