A Conversation with Chelsea Walton
Chelsea Walton, an assistant editor with Pixar Animation Studios, will discuss her work.
Walton joined the documentary crew at Pixar Animation Studios in 2013. She is an assistant editor and editor of behind-the-scenes content featuring the filmmakers of Pixar’s animated films. Prior to joining the studio team, she was a freelance editor, assistant editor, motion graphics artist and colorist for corporate clients and independent producers.
Walton has worked on several independently produced documentaries, including Finding the Gold Within (2014), Symphony of the Soil (2012) and In the Matter of Cha Jung Hee (2010). In 2011, she was invited to serve on the team of assistant editors for the Sundance Documentary Edit and Story Lab.
Walton holds a Bachelor of Arts in studio art and film production from the University of Iowa and a Master of Fine Arts in cinema from San Francisco State University.
