TRA: continuity or not – Spring 2017 Rome Show
Opening reception for “TRA: continuity or not,” an exhibition of projects by 25 Iowa State University architecture and landscape architecture students who studied in Italy last spring with the College of Design Rome Program.
Spring 2017 Rome Program courses were taught by Simona Albergoni, Karen Bermann, Simone Capra, Claudia Cremasco, Jan Gadeyne, Linda Nolan, Tom Rankin, Pia Schneider, Carol Taddeo and Carolina Vaccaro.
Students who studied abroad in Rome and have work in the exhibition include: from architecture, Anna Bednarko, Alexander Blum, Nolan Christensen, Lucas Confalonieri, Joshua Crow, Ian Dillon, Jiayu Dong, Olivia Finan, Peter Fonkert, Kelly Hanson, Taylor Hess, Joseph Hiestand, Alex Hochstetler, Paavan Joshi, Joseph Kastner, Matthew Lechowicz, Nicholas Loughrey, Rachel Morrow, Makayla Natrop, Greta Norris, Alonso Ortega, Sarah Schneider, Chuyu Shi, Zach Thielen; from landscape architecture, Brice Tegeler.
The reception will begin immediately following the Charles E. “Chick” Herbert Lecture in Architecture by MAD Architects’ Ma Yansong and Qun Dang.
