Zoey Mauck, Des Moines, an Iowa State University senior pursuing double degrees in community and regional planning and landscape architecture, received a Merit Award from the Central States chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects for her project “Connecting Jefferson.” She developed the project as an independent study last semester with landscape architecture senior lecturer Tom Neppl. Mauck, who is studying abroad at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm this spring, was recognized in absentia at the ASLA Central States Conference 2018 Friday, April 13, in Kansas City.
