Toward a Concrete Utopia: Architecture in Yugoslavia, 1948–1980, an exhibition catalog co-edited by Vladimir Kulic, associate professor of architecture, and Martino Stierli, the Philip Johnson Chief Curator of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, won Whitechapel Gallery’s inaugural Richard Schlagman Art Book Award in the History of Architecture category. The catalog was published in conjunction with a major exhibition of the same name at MoMA on the architectural production of Yugoslavia between 1948 and 1980, also organized by Stierli and Kulic.
