“9289: Regenerating a Community, Regenerating a Building: A Housing Model for Adults with Autism,” a poster by a team of three Iowa State University interior design students, has been accepted for presentation at EDRA51, the Environmental Design Research Association conference, April 4–7 at Arizona State University. Graduate student Trevor Kliever and seniors Samantha Kragel and Paige Panek (who graduated with a BFA in interior design in December) developed the project in the fall 2019 “Inclusive Environments” class taught by Julie Irish, assistant professor of interior design. The class was part of the 2019 BNIM Regenerative Design Challenge Grant.
