Shelby Doyle, associate professor of architecture and the Stan G. Thurston Professor in Design Build, will be a 2022-23 University Design Research Fellow (UDRF) for Exhibit Columbus 2022-23 on the theme of “Public by Design.” Exhibit Columbus is an exploration of community, architecture, art and design that activates the modern legacy of Columbus, Indiana. UDRF were selected through a national, open call competition for full-time university professors whose work is deeply rooted in design research. Doyle is collaborating with Ohio State University landscape architecture faculty members Halina Steiner, Temeka Baba and Forbes Lipschitz.
