Shelby Doyle, assistant professor of architecture, received a 2020 Creative Achievement Award from the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) for co-founding the Iowa State University Computation and Construction Lab (CCL) with assistant professor Nick Senske and Leslie Forehand, former assistant professor of teaching. Established in 1987, the award recognizes a specific creative achievement in teaching, design, scholarship, research or service that advances architectural education. In the past 20 years, ISU faculty have received this award a record six times.
