Seda McKilligan, associate dean for academic programs and interim chair of the Department of Industrial Design, together with colleagues from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, and Technical University of Denmark, led a thematic collection on “The Future of Design Cognition Analysis” in the International Design Science Journal. Their editorial traces the past, present and potential future landscape of design cognition research and provides an in-depth analysis of the design literature and an essential reference for positioning current and future studies of design cognition.
