Miriam Martincic, assistant teaching professor of graphic design, has been awarded a Gold Medal from the New York Society of Illustrators for her piece titled “Having It All,” which addresses multiple and competing expectations of women. This is one of three illustrations by Martincic accepted in the Uncommissioned category of the Illustrators 63 Annual juried exhibition and book — one of the most competitive and prestigious illustration shows in the world.
