Firat Erdim, assistant professor and Daniel J. Huberty Faculty Fellow in Architecture, will present “Lines and Misdemeanors,” a virtual lecture via Zoom at noon CDT Wednesday, May 18, as part of the Dirty Drawings Wednesday Talks series hosted by Istanbul Kent University. In this talk, Erdim will relate a series of lines — lines that point, lines that hold, singing lines and lines that bleed through — from works and projects that situate the imaginary of drawing in the particularities of place and materiality.
