Doug Spencer, associate professor and director of graduate education in the Department of Architecture, delivered an invited public lecture titled “Personifying Capital: Architecture and the Image of Participation” for Istanbul Technical University on Tuesday, Nov. 10. The lecture presents a critique of the part played by landscape, and landscaped architectural forms, in processes of capital accumulation and their representation.
