Daejin Kim, assistant professor of interior design, participated in a virtual training series on older adults’ mental health in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Human Services and the Iowa Department on Aging.
With Megan Gilligan, associate professor of human development and family studies, and Keli Tallman, program development and evaluation director with ISU Extension and Outreach, Kim presented “Living with Safety: Appropriate Aging Settings & Age-Friendly Communities.” Many service providers, including social workers, medical professionals and law enforcement officers, joined this presentation.
