No More Bedtime!, written and illustrated by Chuck Richards, professor of art and visual culture, has been published by Crown Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Penguin Random House Publishers. Released in December 2019, Richards’ fifth children’s picture book is about an inventive boy who hates bedtime, so he decides to build a top-secret machine that would put an end to it once and for all. The book’s illustrations are in full color and use both traditional and digital media, which is the first time Richards has combined the two.

Richards also is the author and illustrator of Jungle Gym Jitters, Critter Sitter and Lulu’s Magic Wand. He illustrated Author Day for Room 3-T by Robin Pulver.
