Barbara Caldwell, an Iowa State University associate professor of art and visual culture, will receive the 2019 USSEA Kenneth Marantz Distinguished Fellows award from the United States Society for Education through Art. The award recognizes continuous service, leadership and dedication to culturally inclusive art education and the USSEA organization that is exceptional in its depth and breadth. Caldwell will be honored Friday, March 15, at the 2019 NAEA (National Art Education Association) National Convention in Boston, Massachusetts.
