Celebrate student, staff, faculty and alumni work at Octagon Gallery Night Feb. 7
Work by several College of Design faculty and staff members, students and alumni has been accepted into Octagonal 2020: The All-Media Exhibition, which will be on display Feb. 7–April 4 in the Octagon Center for the Arts’ Main Gallery. Limens, a solo show by integrated visual arts graduate student Christopher Chiavetta, will be on display Feb. 7–March 21 in the Octagon’s Sweeney Gallery. A reception for both shows will be from 5–7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, with awards for Octagonal announced at 6 p.m.
Those with work in the show include James Casad, senior in integrated studio arts; Art Ciccotti (BFA 1987 Art Education); Andrew Clarridge (BFA 2009 Integrated Studio Arts); Rachel Connell, gallery coordinator; Nathan Edwards, assistant teaching professor of art and visual culture; Alma Hoffmann (MFA 2003 Graphic Design); Robert Jinkins (MFA 2017 Integrated Visual Arts); Letitia Kenemer (BFA 1996 Art & Design); Chris Martin (BFA 1990 Craft Design), professor of art and visual culture; Anna Segner (MFA Integrated Visual Arts), assistant teaching professor of art and visual culture; and Mattea Whetstone (BA 2005 Biological/Premedical Illustration / MS 2007 Interdisciplinary Graduate Studies).
