CEAH Research and Symposium Grant proposals due Oct. 11
Faculty are invited to submit proposals for Research Grants and Symposium Grants offered by the Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities. Three different types of research support are available: Summer Research Support for Assistant Professors ($5,000), Course Release Support (negotiated with the applicant’s college) and Grant Account ($2,000 – $6,000) for expenses such as hourly research assistance, equipment and research-related travel. Symposium Grant funds of $2,000 – $10,000 are available to support the creation of artistic and scholarly conferences, symposia or seminars on the Iowa State campus that will attract significant national attention and bring recognition to the scholarly work being done by ISU’s arts and humanities faculty. Proposals for both Research Grants and Symposium Grants must be submitted online by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. Links to the proposal application template and submission form are available in the CFP/RFP.
