Call for posters, exhibits and demos on the integration of arts, humanities and STEMM in higher ed
“Branches from the Same Tree: A National Convening on the Integration of Arts, Humanities and STEMM in Higher Education” will take place from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday, April 12, at the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in Washington, DC. Register online.
Faculty and students are invited to submit posters and interactive exhibits of integrative courses, projects and/or activities at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Innovative ideas that have been implemented on campus or are planned in the future are welcomed. Work that demonstrates the interaction between the arts and humanities with science, engineering and medicine is of particular interest. See submission guidelines.
The NAS also invites demos on integrative courses that have been designed and implemented on campus. Faculty members from all disciplines who have taught courses integrating arts or humanities with science, engineering or medicine are welcomed. Submissions of posters, exhibits and course demos are due by Friday, March 15. Questions may be directed to Irene Ngun.
