Green Dot bystander training

Faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students are invited to participate in bystander training for Green Dot, the initiative to identify and reduce power-based personal violence on campus. Green dots are words, attitudes, choices, etc. that promote safety for all. This three-hour session will help you understand “bystander” and equip you with the knowledge, skills and key behaviors to integrate in your classrooms and offices. Register via Learn@ISU (see “Green Dot”) for one of these sessions (more will be added this winter): 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18; 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15.
