Workshop on internal funding opportunities and writing a successful application

The Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities will host a workshop on “Internal Funding Opportunities and How to Write a Successful Application” from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the Memorial Union Oak Room. This brown-bag lunch session, geared toward the spring 2019 application season, will provide an overview of funding opportunities for research and scholarship goals and offer concrete advice on how to take advantage of these opportunities. Members of the faculty review team will discuss what makes a successful proposal and how they evaluate submissions. All faculty in the arts, design, humanities and social sciences are welcome. For more information, contact CEAH director Carlton Basmajian.
