CEAH Research and Symposium Grant applications due Oct. 15
Monday, Oct. 15, is the deadline to submit proposals for Research Grants and Symposium Grants offered by the Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities. Three different types of research support are available: Summer Research Support for Assistant Professors ($5,000), Course Release Support (negotiated with the applicant’s college) and Grant Account ($2,000 – $6,000) for expenses such as hourly research assistance, equipment and research-related travel. See the Fall 2018 Research Grants Call for Proposals (for projects in 2019-2020) for details.
Symposium Grant funds of $2,000 – $10,000 are available to support the creation of artistic and scholarly conferences, symposia or seminars on the Iowa State campus that will attract significant national attention and bring recognition to the scholarly work being done by ISU’s arts and humanities faculty. See the Fall 2018 CEAH Symposium Grant Call for Proposals (for projects in spring and summer 2019) for details.
Proposals for both Research Grants and Symposium Grants must be submitted online by 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15.
