NSF I-Corps information session is Aug. 29
The Office of the Vice President for Research will offer information sessions about the fall 2018 National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program, an initiative to transition NSF-funded research from the laboratory to a product in the marketplace. The session for the colleges of Business, Design, Human Sciences, Veterinary Medicine and Graduate College will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, in the Memorial Union Pioneer Room.
The program application period is open through Friday, Sept. 7. Review panels will take place Sept. 10-14, with notification of acceptance Monday, Sept. 17. I-Corps sessions begin Wednesday, Sept. 26, with additional sessions on Wednesdays, Oct. 3, 17 and 24. Attendance by the entrepreneurial lead and the academic lead is required at all sessions to be eligible to receive a microgrant. No exceptions will be made for this requirement.
