Memorial Day ceremony is May 28
Iowa State employees, retirees and spouses who died during the past year will be remembered at the university’s annual Memorial Day ceremony, hosted by the ISU Retirees Association, at 9 a.m. Monday, May 28, in the Reiman Ballroom, Alumni Center. The ceremony will include an invocation by Rev. James Secora, pastor at St. Cecilia Catholic Church; prelude by Collegiate Brass of Collegiate United Methodist Church; a reading of the names and a time for family, friends and colleagues to share memories of loved ones. In addition to ISU employees, retirees and spouses, the individuals on the center’s Wall of Alumni and Friends who died in the past year will be recognized.
