Nominations for Honors award for teaching, advising, mentoring are due April 2
The University Honors Program gives two annual awards of $500 for excellence in:
- Teaching Honors courses, contracted courses or seminars
- Advising or mentoring Honors students academically, in first-year research or in final projects
Anyone who has taught or mentored in Honors at least once may be nominated. Nominations, including self-nominations, and supporting materials are due to the Honors Program Office, 2130 Jischke, by 5 p.m. Monday, April 2. The University Honors Committee will evaluate the nominations; recipients will be recognized at the Honors convocation April 25.
