College of Design presenters at Iowa State Research Day
Ten faculty and staff members from the College of Design are presenters at the second annual Iowa State Research Day from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at the Memorial Union. GIS analyst Robin McNeely and architecture associate professor Ulrike Passe will share their work in the Posters, Exhibits and Creative Expressions Program in the Great Hall. Landscape architecture associate professors Heidi Hohmann and Bambi Yost and assistant professor Ben Shirtcliff; art and visual culture assistant professor Kim Moss; and industrial design assistant professor Verena Paepcke-Hjeltness will present lightning talks; and industrial design associate professor Mani Mina will participate in the Story Collider Program.
The event also features a keynote address by Gregory Petsko, chair of the Brandeis University Department of Biochemistry, on the marriage of science and the arts/humanities and a resource fair.
