New Miller mini-grants promote open educational resources

A new, specialized Miller mini-grant will help faculty integrate open educational resources (OER) into their teaching. OER is “high-quality teaching and research materials, such as textbooks, lab books, videos and course modules, that are free for people everywhere.” Grants will range from $500 to $10,000; proposals are due by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, April 15. A one-hour workshop for potential grant applicants will be held from 12:10 to 1 p.m. Monday, March 5, in 2030 Morrill. These grants are administered jointly by the University Library, Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching and the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost. Questions may be directed to Abbey Elder, Parks Library.
