Register for ISU Research Day March 27

ISU Research Day, “Discover – Create – Together,” will be from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at the Memorial Union. Faculty from all disciplines are invited to present a poster, deliver a lightning talk, display an exhibit, meet new colleagues and discover connections within Iowa State’s interdisciplinary grand challenge research areas.

The event will feature a keynote address by Gregory Petsko, chair of the Brandeis University Department of Biochemistry, on “Science and the Arts/Humanities: A Marriage Made in Heaven.” This second annual event will offer changes for those who participated last year, including more space for creative activity displays and demonstrations; a storytelling session; a resource fair; a separate, quiet room for lightning-talk presentations; professionally-recorded videos of all faculty talks for post-event faculty and departmental use; a “practice day” for faculty to do dry runs of their talks; and a continuous shuttle throughout the day.

For catering counts, please register if planning to attend.
