ISU ADVANCE workshop on gender and cultural diversity in effective teams
ISU ADVANCE will host a workshop on “Effective Teams: Navigating Both Gender and Cultural Diversity” by award-winning author Kathrin Zippel, an associate professor of sociology at Northeastern University and an expert on gender, science and organizations. The workshop will provide tools and promising practices to understand and navigate interpersonal dynamics and (gendered) cultural differences in order to effectively lead and work in international teams.
This interactive program will be held twice, from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. and again from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. Monday, March 26, in the Memorial Union Sun Room.
