City Data for Decision Makers reports available online
The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Indicators Portal team has released the “City Data for Decision Makers” reports for every city in Iowa (945 total). The reports show population trends, demographics and socioeconomic indicators such as income, poverty, employment, housing characteristics and health insurance coverage. Reports can be downloaded through the Indicators Portal. They include data from the US Census Bureau’s Dec. 7 release of the 2012-2016 American Community Survey.
The Indicators program is led by Chris Seeger, professor of landscape architecture and extension specialist, and managed by Bailey Hanson, a systems analyst with ISU Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development. The team can be followed on Twitter @ISUExtensionIP.
