Register for workshop on adaptive reuse in Rome

The College of Design has partnered with the Iowa chapter of the American Institute of Architects to host a summer workshop on “Adaptive Reuse: An Exploration of Rome” at our studio facilities in the historic heart of Rome, Italy. Travel dates are Friday, June 8, through Monday, June 18, 2018. Participants will visit sites including Monte Testaccio, Ghetto di Roma (Jewish Ghetto), Mattatoio, Museo Montemartini, Mercati Generali, Ara Pacis and Villa Adriana (Hadrian’s Villa).

The $2,150 fee includes programming, up to 27.5 CEUs, six lunches, two dinners, lodging, and transit to and from lodging during programming. Spouse registration is $600. A 25-percent deposit is required by Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, with full payment due by Thursday, Feb. 15. More information, including full itinerary and registration link, is available online.
