Art Inspired student exhibition call for entries

Iowa State students in any major are invited to submit artwork to the “Art Inspired” juried art exhibition, which will be on view Feb. 4 through March 20 in the Memorial Union Pioneer Room. The show will be juried by ISU alumnus and professional ceramics designer Jonathan Castro (BFA 2007 Integrated Studio Arts). You may enter up to three 2D or 3D works with a one- to three-sentence statement describing your inspiration for each artwork. Entry details are available on the Student Activities Center website.

Entries must be hand-delivered between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Pioneer Room. Entry forms and artwork labels will be available when you drop off your work, or you can download the form, fill it out and take it with you when you drop off your work. If you are unable to deliver artwork during that time frame, contact Letitia Kenemer, MU fine arts coordinator, to make other arrangements in advance.

College of Design faculty members also are asked to inform students about this opportunity and encourage them to enter.
