The College of Design offers a variety of student-centered services to support you throughout your learning experience. The staff in the Design Student Services Office provides assistance in many areas, including:

  • summer orientation
  • orientation course for all new design majors (DSN S 110/115)
  • honors programs
  • scholarship information
  • resources for academic assistance and financial aid
  • all aspects of advising, from first year to graduation

Multicultural Office
The Design Multicultural Office is a part of Design Student Services. The College of Design's multicultural liaison officer (MLO), Cristobal Salinas, acts as an advocate and a resource for minority/students of color. He is available to help you access the opportunities available to become your personal and academic best.

Where We Are
The Design Student Services Office is located in 297 Design (on the second floor, near the central staircase) and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the regular academic year, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. during university breaks and summer months.
