ISA associate professor C. Arthur Croyle's work part of national exhibition

Arthur Croyle, associate professor of integrated studio arts, is part of the juried 78th National Midyear Exhibition through Sept. 7 at the Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, Ohio. His abstract painting is one of 91 works accepted from 969 submitted.

Architecture adjunct assistant professor Samantha Krukowski edits book on Burning Man Festival

McCown appointed chair of ISU landscape architecture department

Following a national search, Kenneth McCown, Associate AIA, ASLA, a Lincy University Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and director of its Downtown Design Center, will become the new chair of the Iowa State University Department of Landscape Architecture. McCown's appointment will begin in December. In the interim, Mark Chidister, the college's associate dean for academic programs, will assist with the department's administration. [More...]

That happened to Will Prindle about 10 years ago when he was vice president of design and development at Forms + Surfaces. His idea and designs for an explosion-resistant public trash receptacle were scrapped.
