Transferring into the Core

 

The Core classes, DSN S 102, DSN S 131 and DSN S 183, are a unique set of courses that together provide a comprehensive introduction to design. The essay and portfolio work that students submit for review at the end of the first year reflects material covered in these courses.

 

It is highly recommended that transfer students complete these courses to be on par with others in the application process for the enrollment-managed professional programs of the College of Design.
