Academic departments

Iowa State University’s College of Design is one of the most comprehensive design colleges in the country, consisting of seven academic departments that offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as three interdisciplinary degree programs. The students, all studying, researching, and creating within various industries and concentrations, work together under one collegiate roof alongside more than 140 faculty dedicated to teaching, student achievement, research, and community outreach.
