GIS Seminar Series
"Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium Niche Wall/Tree Inventory GIS Database Updating"
Jeffrey Doty, vice president of national market development, NewCom Technologies

Arlington National Cemetery is our nation's most sacred shrine and final resting place for our most revered military and political leaders. NewCom Technologies is tasked with providing GIS support services and tree inventory data collection to the cemetery. This includes collecting in-the-field data and measurements, editing existing ArcGIS shapefiles and database. The date that were scoped includes physical features (structures, walkways, planting beds, roads and trees) in the newly developed LD90 Niche Wall project.

This seminar series is sponsored by the GIS Certificate Program administered by the ISU department of community and regional planning. All are invited and welcome to attend.
