On the afternoon of Thursday, March 26, 2009, the Faculty Liaison Council and Executive Cabinet of our College of Design hosted a forum for our students, staff and faculty in Kocimski Auditorium. Discussion was framed by the documents included on this page of our website, which detail the configuration of our present collegiate budget, along with suggestions for savings that might become necessary during the year ahead.

 

Most important, these materials also present a number of options that should enable our academic community to grow out of the likely shortfall we will face at the beginning of the next fiscal year. Suggestions collected to date from faculty and staff for immediate savings as well as longer-term revenue enhancement strategies are also included in this presentation, and we welcome additional proposals as we move into the final stages of our budget development.

 

Finally, the entire forum was taped and will be posted on our secure website in the very near future.
