| CRP 432: COMMUNITY STUDIO II |

Community and Regional Planning 432: Community Studio II is the senior planning studio for students majoring in Community and
Regional Planning at Iowa State University. It is the culminating undergraduate studio where students apply the skills they have
gained throughout their undergraduate studies and create a plan for a town. In this studio, a strategic plan was created that focused on
how to best meet the needs of the emerging immigrant population while also meeting the needs of the town of Perry as they related to
community planning. Specifically, the strategic plan explored the possibility of creating economic development, design, land use, and
social service strategies that harnessed the new immigrant cultural/social capital emerging in Perry while keeping the hometown feel
of Perry alive. |
